Success in meeting our key objectives and creating a need for travelling exhibitions would increase the work demands for current staff. The endowment of a fellowship in Museum Clothing and Textile Practices would serve to hire an individual who could also be paired with other members of the staff to address the needs of travelling exhibitions. Mounting and photographing of artifacts by a fellow would also generate more access to objects in our database and is a job without an end with over 23,000 pieces in the collection. This position would be an excellent entry level position for a recent graduate to work in a collection that remains manageable and where a person could develop a wide array of skills.
